Wedding Marquee Decorations

Wedding marquee decorations need to work from the daytime meal through to the evening reception. Ivory linings are a popular choice because they give the marquee a clean, elegant finish without making the space feel overdone.

For the evening, starlight linings, fairy lights, chandeliers and starburst ceilings can add more warmth to the marquee. These details work well around dining areas, dance floors and the main guest space, especially once the natural light starts to fade.

Big Top Marquees can help you choose decorations that suit your wedding style, guest numbers and marquee layout.

Marquee Linings, Fairy Lights and Chandelier Lighting

Marquee linings are one of the simplest ways to improve the inside of a marquee. They cover the frame and give the space a more complete look, which is useful for weddings, parties and formal events.

Lighting is just as important. Fairy lights can create a softer feel, while chandelier lighting gives the marquee a more traditional finish. Interior lighting helps keep the space comfortable for guests, and exterior lighting can make entrances and surrounding areas easier to use in the evening.

These details are best planned early, so the lighting and linings work with the layout rather than being added at the last minute.

Furniture, Dance Floors and Finishing Touches

Furniture and dance floors play a big part in how the marquee looks and how guests use the space. Tables and chairs help shape the layout, while a dance floor gives the evening entertainment a clear area.

Big Top Marquees can provide furniture hire and dance floors alongside your marquee decor. This makes it easier to plan the inside of the marquee as one complete setup, whether you are arranging a wedding, birthday, anniversary, party or corporate event.

We can also help with more personal decorations or event themes, as long as this is discussed before the setup.
